Professor James Tooley's visit to Ken-ade

  On this day, 18th of March 2022. Professor James Tooley vice Chancellor of Buckingham University UK paid a visit to his Nigerian friend; BSE Ayeseminikan CEO of Ken-ade schools.   Our Woven Spotlight for today is Mr Ayeseminikan Bawo Sabo Eliu. As a volunteer community partner in Makoko, he has helped in organizing women within the community to get trained on how they can build sustainable businesses. He's passionate about building sustainable in low income communities. This led him to building a school in Makoko named Ken Ade private school in September 1990 and ever since had been growing stronger as an educationist. He has travelled outside Nigeria to sell to the world the Concept of schools serving low income families. A book " the beautiful tree" written by Prof Tooley James actually talked so much about Ken ade school.

Creativity Class

  Take a look at our students on their creativity Class. The students were divided into three groups; Creativity, Story writing and Game.   They are following the COVID-19 rules by washing their hands before they started the activity.     When they were addressing them before the activity began.       The gaming aspect   The story writers The creative aspect started from drawing. Rabbit Girl and other stories

 Monday 7th March 2022, Ken ade pry school  played host to TOMISIN OYEMADE, A young girl, 10 years, from Belinda Nursery and pry school, Lagos in basic 5,  Tomisin is the author of RABBIT GIRL AND OTHER STORIES. She did gave out over 100 copies of the book to our basic 5 and 6 pupils with additional donation of about 50 copies to the school library.
