Our Woven Spotlight for today is Mr Ayeseminikan Bawo Sabo Eliu.
As a volunteer community partner in Makoko, he has helped in organizing women within the community to get trained on how they can build sustainable businesses.

He's passionate about building sustainable in low income communities. This led him to building a school in Makoko named Ken Ade private school in September 1990 and ever since had been growing stronger as an educationist.
He has travelled outside Nigeria to sell to the world the Concept of schools serving low income families. A book " the beautiful tree" written by Prof Tooley James actually talked so much about Ken ade school.

  The Egun pupils in ken-ade private school, they dominated about 45% in the school population.  The Ogu people , sometimes called Egun people , are an ethnic group located majorly in Lagos and Ogun State in the South-Western part of Nigeria . The Ogu people have varieties of dialects including Thevi, Xwela, Seto and Toli and they also account for about 15% of the indigenous population of Lagos State .  The Ogu people were settlers in the old Dahomey presently known as Republic of Benin . Igbo Cultural display by Ken-ade Pupils

  Samuel Ibe Leading the Igbo Pupils for their cultural dancing. Igbo Pupils are one of the tribe we have in ken-ade private school and they dominated 5% of the pupils in ken-ade private school. Igbo Culture (Igbo: Ọmenala ndị Igbo) are the customs, practices and traditions of the Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria . It consists of ancient practices as well as new concepts added into the Igbo culture either by cultural evolution or by outside influence.
